State Bar of GA Annual Meeting Pro Bono Activities

If you are attending the State Bar of Georgia’s Annual Meeting next week, please check the agenda for the meeting’s pro bono activities.

First, once you finish at the meeting’s registration desk, come by the State Bar of GA Pro Bono Project Exhibitor Booth. Drop your business card in the drawing basket for a chance to win our gift basket! Pick up a volunteer pledge form, or sit down and fill out the pledge form online. We’ll have some handy giveaways– mousepads, pens, and our famous Georgia peanuts!

We’ll be demonstrating how you can use our volunteer lawyer support website in your practice and offering tips and advice on how to manage your pro bono.

We’re also hosting the State Bar’s first-ever Internet Cafe. Drop by to check your e-mail or surf a bit.

On Friday morning of the Annual Meeting, our State Bar Pro Bono Awards will be presented. Attend and help us honor some terrific lawyers.

Our annual Bloody Mary Pro Bono Reception will be held on Saturday morning, beginning at 11:30. Stop by for a drink or two and enjoy the Silent Auction.

About ProBonoGA

Lawyer and justice architect wannabe... I am the pro bono director for Georgia Legal Services Program and direct a program that is funded by GLSP and the State Bar of Georgia. I am a lawyer licensed to practice law in the state of Georgia, and not in any other jurisdiction. Nothing posted on this blog should be considered legal advice. Your use of this blog does not create an attorney-client relationship with me. I do not have an active legal practice and do not have clients. I am not using this site to market to clients. I do not recommend attorneys or law firms. If I reference an attorney or a law firm in this blog, I do so to tell a story, make a point, or urge you to think about an issue presented by that attorney or law firm.
