The Pollan Law Firm Blog reports on some interesting advocacy on behalf of Georgia nursing home residents facing unlawful discharge. The article highlights the work of two attorneys from Georgia Legal Services Program, Vicky Kimbrell and Patick Cates.

Fulton County Superior Court Judge Melvin Westmoreland issued an Order barring the State of Georgia from enforcing State Medicaid policy affecting Medicaid-eligible residents of nursing homes in Georgia.
